Would you like to pick my brain?

Would you like to pick my brain today? Will you hear me and just turn away?
Or have you come to lay siege to my heart and to watch me tear my world apart?
Have you come because you are a plant lover, or are you just a plant? Have you come to spew your political slant?

Do you find my content rare and lovely or are my words a beacon of woe for thee?
Do you remain watching because you love it when I stumble, or better still, waiting to see me fall? Do you understand anything about me or do you just laugh at it all?

I’m here every day I am able throwing myself on your digital table.
I research in hopes of an answer to cease the pain.
and ask you all to pray for Colorado Rain again….

I share what i find and I share what I make and get called a bitch and told I’m a fake.
Yet, Each day I say to all who will hear:
“Happy Wake and Bake… Virtual Hits my Dear.”

Baking the Blondies from At Home Baked

please read this article on the benefits of hemp seed!

excerpt:

Hemp is a high protein seed containing all nine of the essential amino acids (like flax). It also has high amounts of fatty acids and fiber as well as containing vitamin E and trace minerals. It has a balanced ratio of omega 3 to 6 fats at around a three to one ratio. This won’t help correct your omega balance if it’s off, but it gives you the right balance to start with.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ll end with my previous review of At Home Baked
*****NOTE***** when I wrote this, I had an UN-DIAGNOSED BROKEN PELVIS!
At Home Baked, Baked at Home Before I begin my review of these brownies, let me set the stage… It’s spring in the Colorado Rockies. We’ve had some lovely weather, and I have overexerted myself into intractable pain. A storm begins to move over the mountains threatening our warm weather. I’ve been pushing through the intractable pain and working with the aid of cannabis hash oil made in the Rick Simpson method, but am still aching. I watch the storm growing ever closer and begin to wish for sleep. Then I remember a gift from ReverendPartridge. I happen to have a box of indica “At Home Baked” Brownies. The good reverend had put them into my hands as a mercy and asked me to try them. So, I hobble into the kitchen with my box of compassion to bake up some mercy. I read the instructions on the box which are as follows:
Baking Instructions
For your At Home Baked experience you need:
A Box of At Home Baked Brownies or Blondies
2 eggs
a little butter or oil to grease baking pan
an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan
a large mixing bowl
mixing spoon or whisk
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan.
  3. Place dry ingredients into large mixing bowl.
  4. Shake oil packet then add and mix evenly (about 20 strokes)
  5. Add eggs one at a time and finish mixing (30 more strokes)
  6. Spread mixed batter into baking pan.
  7. Bake @ 350 Degrees until center sets Approx. 25-35min in 8×8 or 20-30min in 9×9 pan
  8. Let cool then enjoy with caution!
A little goes a long way!
If you aren’t sure weather they are done or not use a toothpick and poke the middle of the mix if it is mostly clean they are done if it is covered in fudgy goodness they need a few more minuets.
(retrieved from:  http://www.athomebakedcolorado.com/baking-instructions/ )
About ten minutes later, they were in the oven, about a half an hour after that, they came out of the oven. I cut the brownies into 8 pieces as directed by the box. As soon as they were cool enough, I plated the brownies and some fresh strawberries and a cup of tea. The brownie’s flavor was decadent rich chocolate on the palate with the familiar notes of cannabis in proper balance with the other flavors. It was enjoyable to eat, but so rich I would recommend you have a drink handy when you serve one to yourself or your patient. Most people would say a glass of milk, but I opted for some tea. I was still awake and in pain an hour and a half later, however I was also capable of laughter. I had not been capable of laughing in some time. This was an improvement. Eager and hoping to achieve an end to the intractable pain shooting through my body, I plated up another brownie. Just as I began munching on the second brownie, snow began falling and I understood why I was having issue getting on top of my pain. It had to be the impending storm making it so difficult to get comfortable. In the end, I ate a nearly half a pan of brownies. I was up most of the night, but once the storm slowed and I found sleep, I did sleep for an increased duration compared with my usual sleep patterns. Before you think this is a negative review, let me remind you of the definition of intractable:
Definition of INTRACTABLE
1
: not easily governed, managed, or directed <intractable problems>
2
: not easily manipulated or wrought<intractable metal>
3
: not easily relieved or cured <intractable pain>
(retrieved from: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/intractable )
The fact that these brownies were able to make me laugh when I was in so much pain is a strong indication to me of a good product. Another Carded individual in the house was asleep within 30 minutes of eating 1 brownie. My assessment, 10 of 10 Medicinal Leaves Awarded! Duke the Cancer fighting Dog
Duke’s struggle is at an end… please follow the link
Update July 6, 2012
Here is Dukes file of what I have done so far as to treatment and some updated pictures of Dukes shoulder with the THC oil applied.
I will send you weekly updates.
I was thinking about how Duke is the first to take this sort of treatment and he is sort of a Pioneer to this treatment.  I was wondering if you had any Veterinarians in your area that you might be able to contact to see if they had any current patients that the doctor is treating for cancer or not treating for cancer.  Some people once their told their dog has cancer they simply let the dog live out their final days at home and they when the dog is in too much pain or can’t get up anymore that’s when the Dr. or Vet put them to sleep.  Maybe the Dr. might be willing to let you have the name of one or two patients and you can approach them and offer them a treatment program if they agree to be fully documented as to what happens.
Be aware that the Dr. may not want to participate or be involved or just say no.  Use tact and diplomacy to get him to give you the names of a few of his patients currently going through cancer with their pets.
I think if there is two cases going on (Duke and you) then we can compare notes and progress.
It’s just a thought, the more documentation we can present with pictures and video the better we are of having it accepted as a treatment for dogs or cats and eventually people.
Keep sending Duke your prayers,
Cody
Author’s note*****
Duke’s dad would like everyone to know that if you have multiple dogs, you need to watch the dog being treated for signs that the other dogs are sensing some weakness in your pooch and picking on them for it.  Duke lives with a lot of other dogs. We have spoken about methods so that Duke is more alert so he can have more positive interactions with his canine buddies. We have suggested that Duke get most of his internal oil at night time when his pals are more likely to want to lie down and sleep beside him rather than pick on him in play because his consciousness is altered.
Here is an update on Duke the dog, his owner writes “I am looking more closely at Dukes lump and it seems to feel different. What I mean is, when I would feel his lump before using the THC was hard and seemed attachd to his muscles or meat or bone.
Today for the first time it feels almost like it’s breaking loose from the bone or muscle and becoming looser and moveable. Example, put a baseball under a towel and tighten down the towel to where its hard to roll the ball around. Now loosen up the towel just a bit and notice how the ball seems easier to roll around.
What’s going on?” I replied to him that as long as he keeps the dogs body saturated in THC, then the tumor will devour itself, this process is called “Autophagy”
News from Happy Endings Animal Rescue
SAD NEWS…
DUKE OUR GREETER DOG HAS CANCER
PhotobucketFor those of you that have been to H.E.A.R. (Happy Endings Animal Rescue) know who Duke is.
He is a Greyhound mix that greets
people when they come by to visit our rescue.
Duke is about 10 years old and over the last few
Months has developed a lump in his left shoulder which is now the size of a Mellon.
I have taken him
him to two of our Vets and both have said that I should just go ahead and put him down and end his suffering.
Photobucket
About 2 weeks ago I read a story about Tommy Chong from Cheech and Chong comedy team and found out
that Tommy Chong has Prostate Cancer and instead of treating it the normal way through chemo and surgery
that he is going to treat it with THC Hemp Oil (also known as: cannibals or marijuana oil). The THC in this plant
is known to cure Cancer.
I contacted the people at Phoenix Tears and explained who we are and all about Duke
I even sent pictures of the tumor and how it’s growing in his shoulder. The person I spoke with (Ronnie Smith)
have provided me with enough Hemp Oil to cure Duke of his Cancer. I am very excited to start treatment which will
take about 3 weeks to complete and hopefully at the end, Duke will be cured of his Cancer and will live a long and happy
Life.
Check back often for updates on his progress as I plan do document the entire treatment.
Cancer in dogs is responsible
for over 60% of the deaths of dogs that die.
Those that get cancer, most of their owners can’t afford the treatment which
could run from $5,000 to $10,000 and gives NO guarantees.
With this documented case on Duke I am hoping to shed a light on
alternate treatment for cancer in dogs and hopefully more people will go this holistic treatment and save more lives.
I have already been given the death sentence from 2 Veterinarians about Duke, so I really don’t have nothing to loose by at
least trying the treatment with the THC OIL. I will take plenty of pictures as to his progress and post them on this website.
WISH DUKE LUCK AND KEEP YOUR EMAILS OF HOPE COMING IN
Treatment is scheduled to start on Monday June 25, 2012
Check back for updates and please keep your donations coming in.
As many of you know we are running this Rescue totally off the Grid for over a Year now.
We currently have a few solar panels, some batteries and a generator that helps to run this place.
We could do so much more if we had more solar panels and finished building our water harvesting system.
We are seeking a private individual or Company who can help us finish these projects in the form of a
Grant or Gift. All Donations are Tax Deductible and it could really make life here for the dogs more enjoyable.
Yes on 64 – Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Donate
Breedheen,
I wanted to make sure you heard the news: According to a Rasmussen poll released over the weekend, Coloradans support regulating marijuana like alcohol by a margin of 61% – 27%! While this news demonstrates the momentum of our campaign, we’ve still got a long way to go to end marijuana prohibition. The most important poll will be the one on November 6, when the voters of Colorado decide whether to adopt Amendment 64. We’ve made a pie chart of the poll to make it easier for folks to visualize the strength of support for regulating marijuana like alcohol. Will you take a moment to check it out, and then ask your friends to join our campaign? Click here to share the poll with your friends and family — and encourage them to join you in supporting Amendment 64. The poll is great news. With your continued support, I know we’ve got what it takes to keep up the momentum and win in November.
Sincerely,
Betty Aldworth
May I ask what specific parts of the bill’s language you do not agree with?
my response:
overall the language is too complex and generally over-regulates the plant. It creates too much red tape that can be used to harm cannabis users in the end… Most users do not understand your bill and will not even read it all the way through. I cannot support it with Michelle LaMay’s petition is so eloquent and simple.
I encourage people to read the language of the 3 bills up for their consideration at this blogpost.
to me
Breezy,The complicated language, and red tape is not designed to harm cannabis users, but to help protect them. The Medical Marijuana system in Colorado is very regulated, but it is also the most legitimate in the country. California’s system is highly unregulated and as a result people still associate it with criminal activity; where as in Colorado most people, even ones who don’t support our cause know that the plant is a great source of medicine.Our bill ensures three very simple things, it allows adults 21+ to possess up to 1 ounce with no criminal penalties, it allows for the cultivation of industrial hemp, and it allows for the sale and distribution of the marijuana.You are entitled to your opinion and beliefs, and I respect those, but we feel the change is needed and that 64 is the best bill to do so.All the best, and thank you for your thoughts,
i will respond properly as soon as I have the strength. You have not changed my opinion and I have had my eye on this bill since before you were gathering signatures and even considered promoting you and passed petitions off to people in un-served areas. I’m sick in bed and will respond as soon as I am capable.
I still cannot get on board with your amendment. Michelle Lamay’s relief for possession of cannabis act does all that and more.
Sure, under the like alcohol language, You can Have an ounce if you are over 21 with your bill, but do not attempt to grow your own. Sale and distribution will be in “party stores” basically allowing all dispensary to convert to party atmosphere and legally stop caring for anything other than their bottom line (dispensary owners are thinking why should we care about sick people when we can sell to the fun crowd instead?). Industrial hemp is great, and necessary, but there are other bills to do that too. So what does your bill give consumers that none of the other bills do?
Pikes Peak Cannabis Caregivers Review by proxy
A friend of mine travels a lot an makes regular stops by my “high mountain” home to toke out and brainstorm. Recently, she dropped in with a few strains from some spots in Colorado Springs. This is the first in a series of “reviews by proxy” Having someone play “secret shopper” for me cuts down on the chances that I will get superior herb to other patients because they know it is for a review. Asking to do the review after the medication sample is already in my hands by way of a compassionate friend also cuts out the need for a dispensary to actually have a heart to get a review.
my assessment, through a reliable proxy…. and a small sample of my own. their grower knows their business…. the owners are not so good…. overpriced, and rude. not only that, their website contains NONE of their own content or any real help to a patient at all.
Just a few miles away at JP Wellness, you can get the same quality herb (often better) and much more reasonable prices, with friendly budtends and a all around nicer experience…. Oh, and as a full disclosure thing…. Yes, spoke to the owners myself and I offered PPCC a review. They did not want one…. I decided that you all deserved to know what we found there anyway.
herb experience 7 of 10 medicinal leaves (overpriced)
overall: 3 of  10 medical leaves
About the Reviews and how to get one.
Are you a Colorado dispensary who would like your herb reviewed and a video made by The Art of Breezy Kiefair? I will come to you to pick up my review sample or have a friend do it for me…. What about seed banks? I’m a great grower and would love to review your genetics… An author? get me a copy of your book…. a pipe blower? send me a pipe… or any other artistic and/or other canna-related product?
I ONLY REVIEW BASED ON YOUR COMPASSION…. quantity of compassion is not important…. Quality of the product is what i review… Being compassionate gets your foot in the door. Positive reviews are never guaranteed. I give only my blunt and honest assessment…. If you think you have the goods, step up…
The more I love the product, the longer I will promote your product line for your little bit of compassion… that’s how the reviews work…. plain and simple. wanna know more? btokeefer@gmail.com
i have happy review-ees you can speak to about it as references.
Some would say I hustle medication…. I’d say….. looking to see who has a heart where so that low income people close by can know where their limited dollars go the farthest….. so that people get business who have hearts and deserve it…. and if i see something wrong, well… that goes in to… I pull no punches.
