Mach II of the Betta Beta test… Cannabis and mutated fish
THIS IS NOT A JOKE! THIS IS NOT AN ATTEMPT TO GET A FISH HIGH… this is GUERILLA RESEARCH on MUTATIONS
Meet Makara Mach II and the betta beta test. A while back I got a Betta fish only to sadly find that the very quality that drew me to him was a mutation of the breed (some curls that went all the way around on his dorsal fin).
This mutation dooms the fish to an even shorter than usual fish life and most serious breeders would never breed a betta male with this trait. I treated that first betta with drops of cannabis infused coconut oil once every 3 weeks and that fish outlived what the estimated expected life span for this mutation. Had I known it was going to work so well I would have documented the first test better. THIS IS A HIGHLY DILUTED FORM OF WHOLE PLANT (THC INCLUDED) CANNABIS OIL! IT DOES NOT TAKE MUCH TO MEDICATE A FISH! REGULAR TANK MAINTENANCE IS A MUST!
Here are some images and the above video of Makara Mach II of the betta beta test. We found another betta male. This male had the curl on both the dorsal and caudal fins. He has already been with us for some time but I didn’t want to unveil him before he got acclimated to his new enclosure and survived the trauma of the initial trip home from the pet shop. We also gave him some glass shrimp as tank cleaners. He only allowed the smartest one to live initially, then he killed them all off for cleaning up his bubble nest. We got him a snail to use as algae eaters he can’t kill. The ghost shrimp were there to clean his poo and to see if the cannabinoids have any effect on the tank mates. I’m keeping a field journal so I will have all the info on my method this time. Cannabis can even help mutant fish if you know what you’re doing.
Mach II of the beta Betta test reached 1/3 of his expected lifespan on 3/15/2015 for the mutations he has. That day, I changed his water again and gave him his allotment of cannabinoids onto the filter.
Untreated, I would expect him to live as many as 4 more months.
This lucky dude has been getting 3 drops of coconut oil infused with cannabinoids every two weeks along with his filter change, and water cleaning/care. He is thriving!
Although, initially there was no change in his fun curling, Now I see and can believe the cannabinoids have made him a much more robust specimen than he would be had I left him untreated. I’m studying the effects of cannabinoids on mutated fish.

Here Is Mach II on day one… he was just getting used to having space. He was in a truly tiny container when when bought him.
Mach II as he was up for sale at the petstore… doomed to a life in this tiny bowl chancing someone would take him home in spite of his mutations.
Mach II got a much bigger place to exercise first of all. And in addition to my cannabis oil treatment, I have kept his tank in the best condition one can including ph testing his water and giving him living plants.
This photo shows fairly well the curling of his fins. He could not display properly like a male Betta (expanding his fins to show himself in a display to attract females and dissuade other males from his territory.) This photo was within one month of getting him, so this is really with one month of treatment. Just wait until you see him in the video taken yesterday. (above video)
2 Days Later he was much more acclimated to his new home and began trying to display for us. Note the curling on the lower fin and the drooping dorsal fin. These are the defects that may have caused other betta lovers to pass him up. I took him home and gave him loving care instead based upon my last experience with a betta with similar (though less severe) mutations. I’m documenting this case carefully. I didn’t take notes for the last fish who got this treatment. With all the changes to the world on a climate scale, maybe my research might be important and built upon one day.

Update July 7, 2015
Mach II has exceeded life expectancy for his mutations. Today, Mach II got some new tank mates. We added 2 zebra snails and 5 ghost shrimp to help clean the tank. He likely will eventually kill all the shrimp, but they clean his tank in a way I can’t even if I drained all the water and cleaned it (something I do on a regular basis). Each and every time I’ve done anything more than feed Mach II has been carefully documented.

Each step along our individual paths changes us. Some experiences grow body, mind, and soul. Other experiences cause those same parts of us to shrink and ache endlessly. The trick is to let each step teach you even if it pains you. When you dedicate yourself to a task with little hope of recognition or monetary gain, many steps on the path are painful. No matter how much you give or how many you touch, there are still more in need. We live in a harsh world. My hat/cancer bandana off to anyone on the path to healing themselves and/or helping a loved one get relief in the most natural way possible. It takes a lot of courage and resolve to reach the end of the modern medicine road and only be left with options you may be logically against (such as chemo). It’s just as difficult to dutifully stand by and genuinely unconditionally love someone whose body is in decline.
As difficult as those decisions are, being public about them makes those choices even harder, but the stories we tell and leave behind in this time when cannabis legality is in its infancy of revival are a testament to the plant, it healing and transformative powers, and the lives of those left searching for comfort when modern medicine can’t offer it. Each of us who has chosen to tell our tale in the public forum of our day (the internet, or public eye in general) is living history. My endless gratitude to all those out there playing nurse to a loved one so limited in physical ability. Watching the cannabis world work to change from prohibition to test markets for medical use to states defying the federal government to decriminalize for adult use has been a heart twisting journey every step of the road. Please don’t forget the chronically ill folks and their caregivers for each recreational bowl you enjoy or sell legally. We still have a long way to go to honor the people who put their entire lives and health on the line in order to create change. Let’s begin by more and more programs to help the low income patients among us.
After many years of dedication to the cause of cannabis education and healing, This is the greatest need I see in the movement today: Just too many folks with too little resources and too much pain while the price of cannabis remains a burden to their largely ssi/ssd funded existences while pounds of useable cannabis are grown in the name of someone suffering and sold elsewhere by their “caregiver” for a profit. We must do better by the low income legal cannabis patient if we ever hope to legalize cannabis for medicinal or recreational use across the board. But as an individual, I can only offer individual mercy. Lately I’ve been giving free oil to individuals legal in Colorado and to cannabis charities such as Greenfaith Ministries. We need to see more of this kind of mercy.

- food donations to shelters, families, and the homeless*
- cannabis awareness events and presentations

One of the few positive male role models i have had in mu life. The rule is to spend it on something for myself. I misbehaved this year and give the gift to you. This year I’m put it towards continuing to give the gift of information via kiefair.com . Pebbles Trippet, a prominent writer for Skunk Magazine bought a clutch of 4×6 limited edition Maya Angelou memorial prints. Other patrons got posters or 8×10 prints and we made our goal to keep the site open! My thanks to all Patrons!

Written by someone very intimate with pain on many different levels. Beautiful and honest. I can’t wait to find out more about this amazing young woman. I originally borrowed this book. I have now read it twice and I have to own it. It must become a part of my permanent collection, along with anything else I can find which flows from this beautiful author.

As an activist,a woman and a HUMAN BEING,, I could feel the pain in Ms. O’Rilley’s poetry. Yet I could also feel the triumph. A must for all “pot’ lovers, I got it for 2.99 for my Kindle and it was MORE than worth it. I’ve read these poems over and over, you will too.

This is an excellent book written by a very gifted, unique woman Breezy Keifair. I loved the whole book and have read it a couple of times so far. She is an artist that does her work under the influence of pot for the pain she is in and you can feel that pain with her words. I could really relate to that and a lot of other things in the book. I highly recommend this book. She is also a very gifted artist besides being a good poet and writer.

When it was time to talk to the doctor about my decision to try the Cannabis Oil as a treatment for the “C” diagnosis was not sure how it would be accepted. Was so thankful that when we talked she told me many of her patients with HIV/AIDS here in Texas are already using Cannabis Oil! As an Internist with a very large patient base from around the country I was so glad she was positive! Was laughing as I was leaving had to just turn and say “I wonder how much THC I have in me?” She smiled and said “I have those numbers.” There have been many Urine tests. Having a doctor who understands cannabis does no harm is a wonderful thing. It is sad to read people who are trying to talk to the doctors about Cannabis Oil when the doctor’s are not encouraging Cannabis as a treatment option. It’s not really the Doctor’s fault it is the “Lie” of Prohibition.
Medical students follow strict studies to become a Licensed Physician. Specialist’s are required even more stringent rules and studies. The problem is most of the “Drug Education” is provided by large pharmaceutical companies. This limits what the medical students are learning. This results in keeping American Doctor’s dumbed down. These are the Country’s brightest and best who are accepted into Medical School.
Another area where American doctors are falling behind is in Nutrition. From my understanding most Medical Schools only focus on limited numbers of Nutrition Courses required. So these learned persons do not learn about Nature or the benefit of food. In the Bible Belt we have few.
Back to that strong Southern Baptist upbringing we learned “you are what you eat”. My mother also said “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. My mama was right but she did not know about Genetically Modified Food (GMO) Products are being fed to American’s. Those who are poor it is hard to get food that is not GMO. Improper nutrition results in higher rates of Cancer and other serious illnesses on the residents of the South.
Southern States are used to doing what they have always done. The elected officials have used the lies, bigotry and fear mongering in the Media to sway the feelings of the people. It happened here when Reagan was running for President. The only thing is we have not changed since Reagan in the Southern Bible Belt. These traditions are deeply seeded in our ‘roots’. Doing the same old things in the name of God. The South keeps Union’s out of the South. This keeps most of those living in the South ‘poor’. By spending less on Education and giving huge tax breaks to lure new business to the area they dumb down all children in the Public Education System.
What is really sad… is the fact they do all this hating of others in the name of God. They talk about ‘Abortion is Murder’ yet when the children are born into poverty in Texas in 2011 was reaching 26% or 1 in 4 children in Texas are living at or below the poverty level. When the state refuses increase funding in Education the children suffer. Those children who are being taught in Private Schools have a better opportunity to advance to Higher Learning. Those children in Private School are not in Public Education. The red voters think they are highly educated people who love God. That is why it is so hard for them to see the damage their actions are causing. The ‘white people’ do not even understand the premise of ‘white privilege’. There is no love in the hearts of those who hate others because the sins are different. Being a Southern Baptist we do not have different degrees of sin. A sin is a sin. One as bad as another. We are no longer a giving loving people taking care of other human beings but are mean and angry if we must help those in need.

“Texas spends an average of $8,998 per student this school year, 46th among the 50 states and the District of Columbia, a comparison by the National Education Association shows. That is well under the national average of $11,674.” This is evidence of how the State of Texas is harming all the children in Public Education. This is what is hurting Texas and it has been happening so many years in a row now it’s just the way it is.
While educating myself I learned things which made me upset! Finding out how Hemp and Cannabis was removed from American’s in 1937!! Texas Lawmakers failed to provide safe access to the plant for 5 – 10 sessions or between 10 and 20 years. As Texas only meets on odd years. Change is imperative for Texas as a pro-life issue.
People have been trying to get the ‘Word’ out but there seems to be a problem dispensing the information. People who ‘read’ ‘educate’ ‘question’ and do not just take what they throw us as crumbs, begin to gather information from various reliable sources. There is evidence of Legislative items on file, the Pharmacopoeia, and other government agency documents which could be requested under the Freedom of Information Act. Books were read and written documenting these facts. Would our government really do this? Yes they will and yes they did!!! A whole bunch of Laws made totally on lies and continue today across America and the World based solely on Greed of certain men.
Activists who saw Personal Freedoms being illegal for no reason other than money began to write books … about this horrific coop made by the USA on its’ own citizens. There is history of this in books and on the internet on the federal government web sites. I try to use .0rg or .gov as reference sites in my education. There are many activists. There are also many crooks. In the sixty’s we used to say ‘know your dealer’ same is true today.
Well, continuing in 2013 with doctor visits and having things frozen off … the last one was the worst and closest to my brain and spinal cord. It was scary. So would share going to the doctor and why on Facebook. Coming home and waiting for the cancer to do what ever it was going to do … as I was not in the right Zip Code to do anything else. Texas Lawmakers failed to provide a Compassionate Cannabis Care Act for Texas in 2013. There was a Committee Meeting in 2013 but those on the Committee were rude and made fun of those who were there to provide Testimony.
So here we are. Fixing to go into Texas next Legislative Session 2015. We did not Turn Texas Blue. We did not change the make up of the Lawmakers of Texas other than to add some more red ones. Texas only meets every other year so Texas must Legislate in 2015 for us to have any relief. Texas has had some kind of bill every session for over a decade. 2013 we got in Committee. Some of the Committee members came to the witnesses and advocates who were at the Session and said they had no idea.
At the grass root level we are more organized for the 2015 Session. The DFW Norml chapter has Organized Poster Children for the DFW area. We have 4 children who might benefit from Cannabis Oil. These families are representing over 80 other families across Texas. If you are in any state with out a Compassionate Cannabis Care Act please take the time to Contact your Elected Officials by phone, email or personal visit. Let them know there has been a tragic mistake made in 1937 and we should not put people in jail for a plant. The law is a lie.

Team Alexis is the group which represents the families recently announced a meeting is set with the new Speaker of the House for Texas Joe Straus along with DFW Norml. We all can see that a Compassionate Cannabis Care Act is being seriously considered for Texas 2015. Bi-Centennial should be able to also introduce a full Legalization Bill for Texan’s as well! No need for people to be flying to Denver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco or Anchorage to partake of a plant substance. The Cannabis oil was used by the ancient cultures of the world with out a worry about a ‘high’. Do not fear the plant. The law is a lie.
Texas passed no Compassionate Cannabis Care Act for Texans in 2013. Yet I still longed for the Cannabis Oil to treat my Cancer my self. I began to search the Internet for stories and people. ‘Low and Behold’ I found someone with the same diagnosis as me!! I was thrilled!!!
Suddenly, I was in a Movement that I know nothing about except Cannabis is Medicine. Cannabis oil kills cancer cells. Cannabis oil is ILLEGAL. Texas is certainly not the best place to be physically when you have Cancer and choose Cannabis Oil as an Alternative Treatment. There is no Safe Access.
You may recall from my previous entry that I became ill with pneumonia in 2010. As I remember this is what happened….
Upper respiratory infections had always been part of my existence. Nebulizers, Pro Air, Advair, Spiriva, Albuterol, Nasacort, the list goes on and on and on. Breathing medication regularly prescribed by the ‘White Coat Pushers’ and there are many. The boy and I had moved to our new home near the school. Was just the two of us here hubby was in Austin and came home on the week ends.
Was laying on the couch .. not sure of how many days I had been on the couch but it had been many. A friend dropped by to see me but stayed just a few minutes. Quick enough to say ‘You don’t look good’ then leave!! This alerted me that I might be sick.
Picking up my cell phone I sent the text message … “I think I might be sick”. That was all I got in the message. I continued to remain on the couch. Some time after dark he came in the back door. Bless his heart I must have looked bad. Quickly he said he would take me to hospital … explained I was not clean as I had not been able to shower and I could not go to a hospital so dirty. So he allowed me to sleep here on the couch.
In the morning he went out side and got a plastic chair and put it in the shower. He had to help me to the bathroom. He brought me something to tie up my hair. Sitting in the white plastic chair he cleaned me up, dried and dressed me. We got in the car and off to the hospital we went. I forgot to call my doctor and tell him we were on our way to the Emergency Room.
Getting to the hospital I do not really remember. The Emergency Room personnel were top notch. There was not question I was quite ill. Off to Radiology and on fluids immediately. They were so nice. In 2 hospital gowns and was placed in a room. Hubby was there with me. Not sure of what they did but remember more than two bags were hanging numerous times.
Poor hubby … as I would come to this world would think of something that was not at the hospital. He was so sweet. He would go to Wal-Mart or Beall’s the only two choices then in the small town where the hospital is located and lovingly search for the item I thought I needed.
The boy was only 14 then and was worried something might happen to me. He has always been afraid he would loose me. Hubby came home at night to fix him supper and return to the hospital after he went to school. That way he was not alone. The hospital stay was 7 days before release.
Pneumonia, is physically draining. Had no idea how little energy remained after that illness. As a Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia (for more information on fibromyalgia and cannabis click here), Lyme, and other syndrome since 1995 my immune system was compromised to say the least already. The Cancer diagnosis was already in place as well.
Hubby returned to Austin, the boy and I remained here at home. He was 14 and the freezer was full of things he could cook for his self. Had a good friend then named Bea and she helped care for me during this time. Was well enough to move back to my bedroom and no longer on the living room couch. Was thankful to have a caregiver during that difficult time in my life.
Being in your bed with 0 energy and still on antibiotics … my friend Bea introduced me to ‘Farmville’ by Zynga on Facebook. Began playing the game on the computer while my body could do nothing else. Hubby would call and ask ‘What are you doing?’ my answer ‘Petting chickens’. As I write this now … it sound pretty silly to be petting chickens with a mouse on a computer screen … but I did play the game.
The recovery is long for Pneumonia. As I healed I continued to play the games on Facebook to occupy my days and nights as my hubby was in Austin and I was here … at home.
The games continued and friends on the social network were made. Anyone who uses a Social Network knows you get friends by getting to know one person … then you see other friends post and you like what they say or you agree you send a friend request.
Always, a Marijuana friendly person I began to make friends who were in the Movement sometime during 2013. That is when I knew about Cannabis Oil and Cancer and knew Texas Lawmakers had a Bill! 2013 everyone who is anyone knows Marijuana is Cannabis. Cannabis is Medicine. Cannabis kills cancer cells. USA has a patent. That makes it pretty simple! The law is a lie. Texas Lawmakers would have the opportunity to change the laws in 2013!!
During these years when a skin lesion would appear would call the doctor, go in to the office, have it frozen and return home. I did not keep the records of lesions but they did begin to come more often during 2012 -2013. Would sling out ‘Going to doctor to have another one removed’ on the social media site each visit to the doctor.
Texas Bill stalled in Committee in 2013 with the gop Lawmakers laughing and making Cheech & Chong jokes while people were testifying. It was not a happy time. I could not understand how I knew about Cannabis as a medicine for 18 years in California as well as other states. How could Texas Lawmakers not let Texan’s have this Cannabis Medicine? How could Texas Lawmakers not understand that Cannabis has always been medicine? The Lord they taught me about in Sunday School, also Anointed people with Oil. How many times has a Religious leader used Holy Anointing Oil? How could this be happening? These Lawmakers were all ‘self proclaimed Believers’ but they could not believe in a plant given by God/Creator for the people of this planet? How could this be? It was making me doubt my own belief in God. How could these people proclaim God in one breath yet be so full of hate? The hate continues today even worse than before.
All during 2013 I was posting how stupid the Texas Lawmakers were for Failing to provide Compassionate Cannabis Care Act for Texans. Also, Texas had Battleground Texas a Political Effort by the Democratic Party to Turn Texas Blue in the November 2014 Elections. Facebook became a device for me to say things I would have never had the opportunity to say to anyone! There was an audience.
Many Fear changes which are coming but those of us who understand are not afraid of Cannabis. We anxiously await the Gift to us from God to not be an act that may result in a long long Prison Sentence. God intended for this plant to be used by all His creatures.
Unknown to me … as I am new to the Movement. There are people who are willing to risk Personal Freedom to help people who have been diagnosed with Cancer or other terminal disease, to receive free of cost Cannabis Oil. This is done as people who can grow may not have use for the trim called ‘Sugar Leaf’. This is the smaller leaves which are on the buds when the Cannabis Plant goes into Flower stage. Many throw this part of the plant away. It has many medicinal properties.
I am sitting at my laptop one day when someone sent me a message on Facebook. Someone sent a Private Message to me on Facebook and said they had medicine for me! I’m like ‘What I’m in Texas’!! They said ‘You have cancer don’t you?’ Well yes I did … so now what happens? A message comes across saying ‘It’s your Turn! All you need to do is join a Facebook group called Cannabis Oil Success Stories and tell your story there’. That seemed pretty easy!
Having just had my worst experience ever with the last lesion I had frozen. I did not know what to do. I did give my full name, address and zip code to this person on Facebook. I tell the Shiner ‘God Bless YOU!!’ The reply ‘I’m an Atheist but what ever makes you feel good.’ Just like that! An Athiest was sending me free cannabis oil in Texas!!! Tears of joy ran down my face!!! How could I be so blessed?? Thanking God every day!!! Thank you God Thank you God Forgive them God they know not what they do!!! I was being given a gift of Cannabis Oil!!! An Atheist was giving me a gift from the ‘Tree of Life’. The Texas Lawmakers have no idea what God is doing in this Movement. Yes the Movement is full of people from all walks of life … doing what ever they can to bring this healing gift to all who are in need. My belief is God is in control He sees us suffering. God did not intend for us to be here and be unhappy or unkind. ‘Be still and know I am God’. That is one of the hardest for me always amazed when I see His works becoming evident.
It was the end of January 2014. Waiting … for the package to arrive. Waiting for the package to arrive. The package took 8 working days to get to me! Anxious to see what happens I tear into the package with anticipation. Dosing for Cancer I had already learned was 60 grams in 90 days for most cancers. So I knew how to dose and begin immediately!
Now came the time to tell my family about the ‘secret’ kept inside so many years. The thing I had hidden from them so well. I had to tell them why I must have the Cannabis Oil which is a Felony carrying a sentence of up to 99 years in my state. I never hid the fact I was a burner … smoking when ever I can.
Hubby is the one who is most concerned. We both understand if they want me there is nothing he can do to protect me from the law. Life as I know it could change. Having been disabled and dependent since 1995 almost 20 years this is very frightening. It’s not like burning a joint. Texas has loosened up the flowers … under 4 oz can be a misdemeanor. Cannabis oil is not the same in Texas Law. Asset Seizure is another concern for us. The option to let the cancer continue doing what it is doing and die. Or choose to disobey a bad law. A law I know is based on lies since 1937.
I was on the West Coast during an R&R in Nam. I loved Huntington Beach, California during Nam … I’m sure I would love it today!! It is a place on our planet you can stand on the ground and see mountains, Pacific Ocean and lovely landscape!! California was always the place for the Movers and Shakers. It was the first time I saw a Mall with more than 1 level!!! Wow, bought an Orange Velvet Mini Dress!! Was ready to have a blast!! Too bad I did not know about Cannabis it was alcohol for me then.
Never having acquired a taste for alcohol … spent most of my evening walking on the beach at night talking with them. They were all drinkers. Beach House in Cali all night! There were many of us there! I had ran into a girl friend from Junior High School. She was living there and took me into the California night life. Staying with my Uncle Oscar Hook (Was at Pearl Harbor, my dad’s brother) and his wife Aunt Hera was a blast. There were a bit upset the 17 year old Texas girl who stayed out all night. We all know girls just wanna have fun til the sun comes up over Santa Monica Blvd. California was wonderful and I enjoyed that trip in the late 60’s very very much. The Fear of the GOP was instilled into my brain at a young age.
Sick and disabled since 1995 with some sort of AutoImmune disorder after our Vacation to Lake Tahoe .. the cancer followed after a long IM injection therapy for Lyme Disease with Rochephin. About 8-10 years ago I went to the dermatologist in Bryan, Texas, Terry Jones, MD, to have a biopsy on a bump on the nape of my neck. A few days later I went in to have a mole removed from my back. The new doctor in the practice called to give me the lab results. “The mole on your back was benign. Oh but the other one is Squamous Cell Carcinoma.” Thanks so much. Never returned to Dr. Terry Jones’ office.
One of my friend’s Judy Greer, RN, her dad was being treated for Squamous Cell Carcinoma at the same time. Chemo was extremely difficult. My choice … let it kill me and tell NO ONE. So to spare my family the pain of knowing cancer was diagnosed decided to live what was left on God’s time. God’s time was very important to me as my daddy was a Deacon and my mom was an Officer in the Women Missionary Union of The Southern Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. We were a strong church family. This was the only decision in my mind. As I knew the chemo killed you and radiation causes cancer. So I decided to quit cutting my hair.
So we all went on about our life as if nothing was wrong with anyone in my family. When a sore would come up a trip to the Family DO and get it frozen, no more biopsy’s … as the little bumps are quite painful. squamous Cell Carcinoma is inside the blood stream.
In 2013 hearing that Medicinal Cannabis would be given in the State House of Representatives (to find your local representative’s contact information for Texas, please click here). I anxiously awaited the Texas Senate Committee hearing live feed for Medical Cannabis for Texas! The Cannabis Oil would cure cancer! The Federal Government had a Patent! Many who are sent home to die are not dying!! Oh my goodness! Soon I could begin treating with Cannabis Oil!! The doctor’s in California had been on the Morning Shows saying juice the leaves for the health benefits since 1995 … what was happening … the elected officials were so rude to those there to testify! How could this be? Not voted out of Committee?? They did not know Cannabis Oil cured cancer? Oh no now what?
Screaming out loud at the television … my husband awoke to ask “What was wrong?” I explained no way would we get Medical in 2013. My heart had sunk. The death sentence was looming closer. Still my family did not know cancer was inside me. My hubby was about to find out but did not know how to tell him.
Medical Cannabis denied by Texas Law Makers. Texas has no way to put anything onto the ballot by Petition. All laws must be done during Session and they only meet every other year! Oh my goodness … what now? Educate.

As Facebook connections were already available using those connections of people who were already in the states who had medical Cannabis and by January 2014 we had states Legalizing Cannabis for Recreational use! Texas was 20 years behind! Oh my goodness!! Networks started happening .. Noticing people were sending me Friend Requests connecting with people who were using this plant across the Planet! Not just in America but around the world people were making Cannabis Oil. Some of the stories were not happy endings, many have died while waiting to be Legally Healed. Some are being Illegally Healed. More about that another day. Once my story of Cancer came out on Facebook … along with my story about Cannabis was medicine for over 100 diseases until 1937… “they” found me. Not sure how “they” found me but “they” did. So many have taught me so much! First thing I didn’t know Sugar feeds Cancer. When they do the PET scan to see the Cancer… they shoot sugar-water into you and it lights up the cancer. Thinking Sugar was be the most difficult for me to give up. It was not. 1 week off sugar. Now I use Raw Honey in my coffee. Buying Organic food only when I can find it. We are not too healthy in my area. We do all we can to do it correctly.

I can’t remember how many lesions or how often. I remember the last one … was very painful .. up above the hair-line on the base of my neck, it took a long time for him to get that one. It was frightening. It was close to the base of my skull closest one to my brain and my spinal column. I knew my time was getting closer to leave my family.
2013-2014 was spent learning the good and the bad things about this Highly Unregulated Industry. Many countries are growing hemp. The Stalks and roots are left and these are sent to China as Industrial Hemp Waste. The Chinese processed the hemp stalks and the roots into industrial hemp waste paste and pack it into drums and sell it this product. Desperate parents unable to get medicine for babies and the medicine they were using was Industrial Hemp Waste Products from China should be no THC high CBD no high for the babies oh NO!! It takes time to expose people who are doing things wrong. Right away seeing this people desperate for medicine were being railroaded into trying snake oil. Babies were sick and hospitalized. At that time my own illness had to be placed on the back burner and someone had to save the Children! It had to be me! Oh my goodness!
I Found myself on a forum Children using Cannabis, CBD, sites on Facebook or Scam sites to protect as many as could be protected. Names are found quickly and you may no longer be able to see what is happening in the bad part. The Stanley Brothers in Colorado Springs area are using the Federal Government and the Hemp Farm Act to try to provide CBD Hemp Oil to children with seizures.

Problem not enough THC the oil quits working for the children and they begin to have break through seizures. The parents in Legal Cannabis States can supplement the THC that is needed. Those who allowed CBD Only or Limited bills are not BEING SERVED! It is broken and not working! Even the high CBD comes from the leaves and flowers of the Cannabis Plant not a hemp plant. Each strain has different ratios of CBD/THC/CBG/THCa there are hundreds of compounds. First let me assure you the high is … you feel good. It is not like a drunk. If you have not experienced a “high” you should try it before your worry about your child might be high. Many parents should be reading the “Side Effects” of the Pharma… Phenobarbital (INN) or phenobarbitone (BAN) is( a long-acting barbiturate and the most widely used anti-seizure medication globally. A new study suggests alcohol is more harmful than heroin or crack
MOST people would agree that some drugs are worse than others: heroin is probably considered to be more dangerous than marijuana, for instance. Because governments formulate criminal and social policies based upon classifications of harm, a new study published by the Lancet on November 1st makes interesting reading. Researchers led by Professor David Nutt, a former chief drugs adviser to the British government, asked drug-harm experts to rank 20 drugs (legal and illegal) on 16 measures of harm to the user and to wider society, such as damage to health, drug dependency, economic costs and crime. Alcohol is the most harmful drug in Britain, scoring 72 out of a possible 100, far more damaging than heroin (55) or crack cocaine (54). It is the most harmful to others by a wide margin, and is ranked fourth behind heroin, crack, and methamphetamine (crystal meth) for harm to the individual. The authors point out that the model’s weightings, though based on judgment, were analysed and found to be stable as large changes would be needed to change the overall rankings

This movement started decades ago. In the meantime we will be dreaming of another place where we can have the Right to Pursue Happiness and Freedoms while healing my body of cancer and disease! We have several Groups of Texans who want to see Cannabis Medicine. Connecting together on Facebook to be ready to go into Austin when the Session begins 2015. We have circled the Wagons to get our selves together and we are waiting for others to join us!
As more main stream news agency’s are interviewing these parents and patients who are healing across America. Hoping those who read this story will contact Texas Elected officials … if you use this medicine you can not come to Texas. Children and adults must leave Texas in order to cure the illnesses with Cannabis Oil. My goal is for Not One more Texan have to move away for Cannabis Oil. Hoping we can gather more help from the Grass Root efforts.

Many are “Grass Roots” until you get on the Cash Cow … as Cannabis … Marihauna … Pot … Weed and other products can change your outlook.

It’s been a short 12 since the Elections … Much is happening in Texas and America … as we get ready to head into the 2015 Session. Texas only meets every other year so if Texas is doing anthing like a Compassionate Care Act Texans must unite regardless of party lines. Compassion knows no party lines.
Earlier this week Rice Univsersity’s, Baker Institute department of Drug Policy provided a Program called “Is Texas Ready for Medical Marihauna?” It was very informative but was a bit weak … sometimes when you work in an area so long you loose sights… Like at the very beginning the news source quoted “Texas Tribune” is a gop rag ran by the very attorney’s representing Governor Perry in a Felony Indictment in Texas. It is definitely, a red rag flying and spreading the news of the gop around. Not a reliable source but are there really any reliable sources?

Florida which received 58% of the vote for Medical Cannabis Initiative but 60% was required for a ballot to pass. Florida also had filed a limited bill! Thankfully, it lost in court so it’s back to the drawing board for Florida! Saving states from more bad law is very difficult with people like the Stanley Brother’s from Colorado. The science is in that CBD only does not work without THC. So more bad laws are in place for 2014 and not one is working. The only Compassionate Acts working are using Whole Cannabis Plant based medicine in 23 states and DC.

Alexis Bortell, age 9 is one of DFW Normal’s Poster Children for Medical Cannabis. We have 4 in all but they represent over 85 families not counting the ones we have already sent into other States for Compassionate Care. Alexis’s dad is a Disabled Vet and her mother is as well! As I live a long way from the DFW area was not there in person. This video pretty much sums it up … we are peacefully asking for our Freedom and being ignored by the Republican Elected Officals. We see this as a Public Health Issue which is not being addressed by our State Legislature and across the Bible Belt. Pleople must Stand Up with us! MAKING CANNABIS CURE OIL IS EASIER THAN FOLKS THINK!!! If you wish make a small batch of cannabis cure oil aka phoenix tears on the down low or are worried about the neighbors smelling what you’re cooking, then this guide is for you. This method works with just a little bit of raw materials to process. I usually reclaim the alcohol solvent, but for the purposes of this post, i’m going ultra low tech and easy for people who wont take the time to run a still because they are complete novices in need of oil…

Quite simply, Phoenix Tears are a potent, concentrated form of the cannabis plant. This therapy is also known as R.S.O (Rick Simpson Oil), Cannabis Cure Oil, Run From the Cure Oil, F.E.C.O (Fully Extracted Cannabis Oil), Jamaican Hash Oil (like you used to get “back in the day”) Cannabis extract, or simply hash oil. Whatever you call it, it is strong medicine that cures most cancers and can treat many disorders/diseases in the body.

What kind of cannabis
do I use?
Some of you out there are so new to cannabis that knowing what kind of cannabis to get is a difficult proposition. For others, this is basic information that I am reviewing for you.
Some of the most commonly recommended strains by the Rick Simpson Camp of oil creation are white widow and white rhino. Both of these strains are good Indica strains but there are many, many other Indica strains. Indica plants have fat leaves and generally are more earthy in their flavor and smell.
You need a strain high in both THC and CBD. I am of the opinion that all of the compounds of the plant work in concert together to heal cancer. Some people will argue with me that chlorophyll is not necessary, but truly that is a small matter.
Indica strains tend to be sleepier and are better in my opinion for nighttime, however for me, Indica plants are also more effective for deep pain.
Indica medical marijuana strains are short, bushy plants with wide leaves. Indica plants typically grow faster and have a higher yield than the sativa variety. Medicine produced from cannabis indica plants have higher CBD and lower THCcounts therefore a pure indica strain will produce a heavier, sleepy type of high. The flowering stage lasts between 6 to 8 weeks.Plant Origins: Afghanistan, Morocco, and Tibet.
Sativa strains are more for daytime. The feeling is more social, more antidepressant, creative, more energetic, and clearer headed. Sativas are also good as a “ distraction” from the pain, they will help you get interested in whatever it is you are doing to help you not notice how much pain you are in.
The sativa strain of marijuana is the complete opposite of the indica strain. Sativa medical marijuana pants are tall, thin plants, with narrow leaves, and generally are a lighter shade of green then their counterpart, the Indica strain. Sativa strains take longer to grow, mature, and require more light. Medicine produced from cannabis sativa plants have lower CBD and higher THC counts which produces a more clear headed, energetic type of high. The flowering stage lasts between 10 to 16 weeks. Plant Origins: Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Southeast Asia.
remember that cannabis flowers are like roses… roses come in many colors and the right color given to the right person can open many doors… cannabis flowers come with many different effects and the right flower given to the right person with the right illness that flower is good at treating can ease much suffering.
I recommend a Cannabis Indica strain or a cannabis Indica dominant hybrid strain for the curing of cancer. If you are treating another disease, you may want to try different strains of cannabis that are more suited for your condition For example, someone wanting to treat their Post Traumatic Stress Disorder might choose to make their Cannabis Cure Oil from a strain known to be a good treatment for P.T.S.D anxiety symptoms such as Northern Lights. An epileptic or seizure patient may want to make their oil out of strains known to reduce seizure activity such as White Widow, White Rhino, or Life Saver. A chronic fatigue patient may want a sativa based oil for the energetic properties of some of those strains. Likewise, a patient with depression may wish to choose an uplifting euphoric sativa strain to use as an antidepressant. Cannabis Indica strains tend to be high in both Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD)
There is nothing wrong with using a mixture of bud and close trim to make phoenix tears oil. I have even known people who used street grade weed (commonly referred to as shwag) to make the oil and saw results. Too often shwag is grown by non-organic methods and harvested before the nutrients have been flushed out of the plant properly. Sometimes, the plant is even harvested before she is completely ripe. That being said, you cannot argue with the results of people who used shwag because that was all they had access to and were able to cure their cancer with it. Because of all these concerns, I recommend everyone grow their own bud, or buy the raw materials from a trusted grower.
What you will need:
a quantity of Indica cannabis flowers or cannabis trim
you can make batches with as little and 1/8 ounce of raw materials, though the yield is very small.
a bag made from a scrap of a clean old t-shirt or some cheese cloth
a 1qt mason jar to soak it in
food grade high proof alcohol (ever-clear works well) Please make sure your alcohol is 190 proof or higher! the higher the proof the lower the water content.
Unbleached cone shaped coffee filters
an oven and oven thermometer to decarboxylate the cannabis
a plant oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, butter, grapeseed oil, hempseed oil in order to help you get the cannabis oil back out of the jar.
What YOU DO
Step 1 Grind it:
Cut or grind your cannabis into small, loose pieces. This increases the surface area for the solvent and maximizes the amount of medication extracted. This step is particularly important if your raw materials have been compressed in any way.
Step 2 Bake it (decarboxylation):
Place your raw materials in a bag made from t-shirt (jersey) material. preheat your oven to 290 degrees fahrenheit (143.3 degrees celsius) Place your bag of raw materials into a glass dish and put into the oven. Heat for at least 20 minutes and up to 60 minutes. AN OVEN THERMOMETER MAY BE NECESSARY! DO NOT EXCEED THIS LEVEL OF HEAT, or you begin to LOSE YOUR MEDICINE.
Step 3 SOAK IT:
Freeze your raw materials for a minimum of 2 hours. Also freeze the alcohol solvent (no it will not become solid and if there is any water in your alcohol, it will freeze to the sides of your container) Put your bag of frozen raw materials into a container to soak. cover with the alcohol you have selected and allow to soak with a lid on it for 2-24 hours. Many different oil makers use different soak times. Some measure their soak time in minutes, some in hours, others in days or weeks. My teacher and I have played with many soak times and have settled upon the 2-24 hour range as ideal for our patients. For small scale extracts, I like 24 hours to maximize the yield.
Step 4 Filter it:
Remove the raw material bag being sure you squeeze as much of the alcohol out as possible. Place the bag in a funnel or strainer and allow the alcohol to drain from the bag thoroughly. Collect all the alcohol! Set up a funnel on top of another container and place a cone shaped coffee filter inside the funnel. Carefully pour the alcohol through the filter and funnel. This removes some of the plant cellulose so that you get a better consistency (less hard) oil in the end process.
Step 5 Evaporate the alcohol:
Leave the filtered alcohol uncovered in a warm cupboard or cabinet. Putting it someplace closed up helps keep the smell away from the neighbors. It may evaporate faster in the open. You want to leave it someplace warm that it is not going to get bumped, spilled or moved. This step can take several days, so be patient. You are left with a thick dark grease like substance in the bottom of the jar. You can access this cannabis cure oil (phoenix tears) in the next step, so dont be worried that you can’t get at the product. If you need ultra concentrated phoenix tears, use a wide mouth flat dish for the evaporation step. you can use a razor blade to scrape the oil off the glass and or a syringe to collect it depending on yield and consistency.
Step 6: time for fats
Add a quantity of coconut oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, or butter to the jar. Gently heat the jar until the oil is melted and marries with the cannabis oil. Lots of stirring in this step! The less fat you put in the jar, the more potent the end result is… this is the step where you decide your dose. It is easier to add more oil and make it less potent than to add too much oil. If you add too much fat, the only thing you can do to increase the potency is make another batch of oil and add it to the cannabis infused oil you already have. The end result can be used in a variety of cooking methods or if you prefer can be put into vegetable capsules (works best with coconut oil) for use as pills or suppositories. I really like a blend I make with the cannabis plus equal parts coconut oil and honey. For more information and discussion on the method, please click this sentence
Step 7 Store it:
if you have access to empty oral syringes, then draw up the phoenix tears into syringes
If you do not have access to oral syringes, consider making up pills from empty vegetable capsules
If neither of the above are an option, a wide mouth glass container is suitable
DO NOT STORE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. No need to refrigerate, if you do they may become too thick to work with.

I am not afraid to tell you that I agonized about writing this tutorial. The responsibility of writing this oil creation tutorial weighed heavy on my mind. I know I need to make the instructions pretty much fool proof. even if i write this flawlessly… with ample warnings and clear language…. what responsibility do i hold karmic or otherwise if someone extracts poorly after reading my tutorial? what level of fool is acceptable for making the oil? How many fools will ignore safety precautions, allow alcohol to build up in the extraction area and become alcohol vapor poisoned or worse will light a joint and go boom for lack of airflow? My teacher is a good oil maker and had to learn his lesson on alcohol vapor poison the hard way… how can I ensure the knowledge I am imparting will not have dangerous consequences if they fall into a fools hands? I have weighed all these concerns in my heart and decided that it was too important of information to with hold it for fear of what people will do with it. In the end, the fear of what people would do with out it is greater than the fear of what they will do with it.

 I’ve been getting a lot of questions from people seeking help finding housing. Breezy wants to remind everyone that the housing market for rentals in colorado moves so fast that it took her 5 months to find a place that met her personal needs. Even with a lack of internet access, she is getting questions along these lines on a very regular basis. I hope these tips help folks both in and out of state in tough positions. At the daily appointed time, she hides in darkness stretching the leafy dime. She inhales and ponders the days events and does her best to fear circumvent. She is filled with sorrow for so many who do without this simple comfort she has made her life about. In the winter twilight she shivers and smokes and prays for those who wish with her to shiver and toke. For the suffering smokeless masses are so very many and yet when I point them out I’m treated like a crazy ninny. I shiver and smoke and cry and toke and still have a heart for those who are broke. The feds raid and I wonder about the needs of the end user how will they suffer because of a possible regulation abuser? All this pain could be gone if we all just accepted growing and using a plant is not wrong.

One thing I can do without lifting my head. I can express my love and gratitude for those who are interested and kind. I worked a private caregiver’s grow from July 2011 to November 2011. I was paid 1/4 oz medication, a roof over my head for the duration of the grow and use of years old trim with no “sugar” left to medicate me. I was supposed to be medicated for the duration of the grow, and recieve winter lodging NO MATTER WHAT for my efforts. Every silver lining has a touch of grey….

Beyond the citrus end of the pot palate spectrum lies a sour lemon tang tending toward the heay pungency of an open drum of diesel. This odor is so strong in Reservoir’s Sour Diesel strain that it may need to be masked during growing if stealth is a goal or necessity. Even when dried and carried in a pocket, these buds are smelly enough to raise suspicions. Reservoir drew on the Mexican sativa family and the sativa hybrid Chemo in an effort to produce the most psychedelic non-haze sativa possible.
Sour Diesel is a tall, thin plant suitable for sea or screen of green. She stretches in the first 3 weeks of flowering. By maturity she reaches a daunting 6 feet indoors in a slender version of the classic Christmas tree silhouette. Her foliage purples as it ages, and commonly displays pink-hued pistils. The buds are loose and spear-shaped.
Sour Diesel taste combined with its effects may be considered an “exptreme sport” version of cannabis. The stone pulls smokers into the sky fast with a viscerally uplifting pleasure and lots of consciousness expansion in the direction of spirituality. This good-vibe variety may help alleviate chronic depression, as well as the ordinary blahs by encouraging a change in perspective.

Hinds’ Feet on High Places is an allegorical novel by English author Hannah Hurnard. Hinds’ Feet was written in 1955 and has become a very successful work of Christian fiction, seeing new editions published as recently as July, 2005.

It is the story of a young woman named Much Afraid, and her journey away from her Fearing family and into the High Places of the Shepherd, guided by her two companions Sorrow and Suffering. It is an allegory of a Christian devotional life from salvation through maturity. It aims to show how a Christian is transformed from unbeliever to immature believer to mature believer, who walks daily with God as easily on the High Places of Joy in the spirit as in the daily life of mundane and oftentimes humiliating tasks that may cause Christians to lose perspective.
The book takes its title from Habakkuk 3:19, “The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.”
The story begins in the Valley of Humiliation with Much Afraid, being beset by the unwanted advances of her cousin, Craven Fear, who wishes to marry her. The Family of Fearings seems to have some strong similarities to the Addams Family. Much Afraid is ugly from all outward appearances, walking on club feet, sporting gnarled, deformed hands, and speaking from a crooked mouth that seems to have been made so by a stroke or the like.
The Good Shepherd is tender and gentle with Much Afraid, especially in the beginning. However, His many sudden departures may strike the reader as bizarre, given the human penchant to expect kindly souls to never do everything that may be interpreted as rude or as hurtful in any way. Yet, though the Shepherd leaves in a moment, He returns the same way at the first furtive cry of the forlorn little protagonist. “Come, Shepherd, for I am much afraid!”
When Much Afraid intimates that she would love to be able to dance upon the high places as do the surefooted deer, the Shepherd commends her for this desire. In order to accomplish this, he offers to “plant the seed of love” into her heart. At first sight of the long, black hawthorne-looking seed, she shrieks in fear. Soon, she relents, and after the initial intense pain, she senses that something is indeed different in her, though she still looks the same, for now.
Just when the reader thinks that Much Afraid is about to reach the High Places, the path turns downward towards a seemingly endless desert. There is an incident at the sheer cliff that must be climbed with only one rope, which hangs a long way down to her from the top. Then days are spent in a forest that is shrouded in a thick cloud of fog. During this time Much Afraid is sequestered with her two friends, Sorrow and Suffering, in a log cabin. The climax is an unexpected twist that comes as Much Afraid despairs of ever reaching the High Places.

The book bears some stylistic similarities to John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress. The name of the protagonist, Much-Afraid, also appears first in Bunyan’s work.

In the united states, the word freedom has attained a near holy status since our founding fathers so long ago so boldly declared their independence from the crown and said,
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. “
The passage came to represent a moral standard to which the United States should strive. What great word and ideal is standing behind those words? Freedom.
Our constitution is similarly tied up in this idea of freedom. The People are free, that is why we fought England, to be free. So concerned are we as a people with freedom, that we amended that sacred document with the Bill of Rights.
The first amendment of the United States constitution is:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
We have this amendment so that people can follow their conscience. We have this amendment so that people can make up their own minds and speak it. This amendment is perhaps one of the most powerful sentences ever written. For, what free person could tolerate anyone getting between them and their understanding of a creator (or their firm belief in atheism for that matter).
Yes, we as an American people are taught to love freedom and speak about our love of that freedom from an early age.
Sure, we all love freedom, but why am I really writing to you about freedom?
I am specifically writing to you on behalf of a prisoner in the great state of Arizona. The Right Reverend Ronnie Lee Smith was stopped while traveling through your state and was detained for possessing medicinal and sacramental cannabis. The Reverend Smith holds a medical recommendation from Dr Eidleman from California. Dr. Eidleman is well known for his natural medicine. He has been in the natural healing field for over thirty years. Dr. Eidleman traveled all over the world, learning a lot about natural ways of healing the body, the mind, and the spirit. Dr. Eidleman believe that these approaches to healing and to prevention and to awakening can be a boon to each of us, and to the country as a whole.

Colorado and California state laws both protect patients who have a doctor’s recommendation but who have not registered with the state. Reverend Smith was legal for his medicinal and religious cannabis where he was visiting in California, he was legal where he was headed (home to Colorado). The state of Arizona does have reciprocity for their state. The Reverend Smith was just passing through the state but was arrested for his sacrament and medication.

Ronnie Smith is a medical cannabis patient. He has nerve damage and is a cancer survivor. He uses this plant to treat pain and to prevent the return of cancer. Ronnie Smith was travelling with minimal amounts of his medicine and sacrament, clearly not warranting any element other than personal possession 21 usc 802(2) The term “administer” refers to the direct application of a controlled substance to the body of a patient or research subject by— (A) a practitioner (or, in his presence, by his authorized agent), or (B) the patient or research subject at the direction and in the presence of the practitioner,whether such application be by injection, inhalation, ingestion, or any other means. (3) The term “agent” means an authorized person who acts on behalf of or at the direction of a manufacturer, distributor, or dispenser; except that such term does not include a common or contract carrier, public warehouseman, or employee of the carrier or warehouseman, when acting in the usual and lawful course of the carrier’s or warehouseman’s business…. I am writing in regards to Mr. Ronnie L. Smith, inmate #036312, booking #13-02676
My name is Breedheen O’Rilley Keefer. My partner’s name is Ronnie Lee Smith. He is a law abiding patriot with a history of going through great lengths to practice his religion and choice of medicine legally, because he has respect for the law. Unfortunately, due to mistake of fact during a trip from California back home to Colorado, both locations where he medicates and worships legally with marijuana, he is now sitting in a jail cell hoping for your mercy.
Ronnie Lee Smith is a cancer survivor, but faces a risk of the cancer returning without access to his medication. He is also my caregiver. I myself am in poor health and each day that passes without his assistance finds me in even worse shape. Ronnie’s detention is an unbearable hardship for the both of us, and places us both in jeopardy as far as our health is concerned.
By assigning labels to a person, we systematically dehumanize them. When Arizona law enforcement officers assigned the label “suspect” to Ronnie Lee Smith, they began a process to dehumanized him, forgetting that he is also a human being who has medical conditions as well as a spirit that has chosen to worship within a religion.
When we limit our observations of an individual to a single facet of their being, we loose sight of the whole. We loose sight of the fact that Mr. Ronnie Smith has a loving companion back home waiting for him, experiencing her own health deteriorate at a rapid pace accellerated by the stress of awaiting a man who is being detained and prevented from caring from his own health, let alone helping to caretake his loved ones.
When we loose sight of the person who Mr. Ronnie Lee Smith is, it may be easy to persecute a label.
We ask that you not loose sight of Mr. Ronnie Lee Smith, the ENTIRE person. The person, who, as a medical patient of both California and Colorado, was traveling through Arizona carrying his personal medication on him. Taking a route through Arizona, due to the fact that he was attempting to stay within the boarders of states that understood compassionate care with cannabis. He was attempting to obey the law.
Unfortunately for Mr. Smith, and his ill companion back home; he was labeled a suspect.
Now, he is being held without access to the very medication that keeps him healthy. His companion back home is braving another cancer scare alone, without the man who is her very soul mate.
Why? Why is Arizona intent on prosecuting Mr. Smith? Doesn’t he fall with the State of Arizona’s own reciprocity in regards to Medical Marijuana? Doesn’t the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act define a “Visiting Qualifying Patient” in 36-2801 item 17?
We humbly ask you to take in consideration the fullness of the human condition that is Mr. Ronnie Lee Smith. We also ask that you take into consideration his failing health within the confines of the penal system. We ask that you relieve the state and the system of caring for Mr. Smith and release him into the care of his friends and intentional family who dearly love him.
Mr. Ronnie Lee Smith is a person who, as a patient was traveling with his medication between two states where he has seen physicians for his conditions. While traveling home, he has been sorely detained and only wishes to return to his home in Colorado where both his loving companion as well as his church anxiously await his return. We humbly ask that you grant that desire.
Ronnie is a good person who is non-violent and poses no threat of harm to society. I am asking for leniency on his behalf. First and foremost I would like to request his release on his own recognizance and dismissal of all charges so that he can come home and focus on his health and mine. If that is not an option, we are still requesting leniency, perhaps a release with time served. Ronnie has done so much to aid sick people across this Nation. Please give us hope that he may continue his cancer treatments and continue to aid in my recovery as well.
I have faith that the right course of action will be considered by the justice system.

What Solvent to use?
What solvent you use to create your cannabis oil is very important. If you are thinking of making your own oil, please take the time to educate yourself on the benefits and risks of any solvent you are thinking of using. When selecting your solvent, it is essential to be as educated as possible about the properties of that solvent.
I recommend use of food grade alcohol and nothing else for beginners (because the solvent is already food grade, it is good for beginners who are learning the method… that way, IF any solvent is left behind due to inexperience, it is still safe to consume.) Those proficient with use of alcohol as a solvent may then begin using isopropyl alcohol 91% (rubbing alcohol) once they have learned to tell when no alcohol remains. If you use a still, you can reclaim your solvent for reuse to cut down on costs.
Another option is moonshine if you have a trusted source but note the word trusted. you want someone who has been making shine a long time with lots of living long term customers… if you get my drift
A few words on the properties of Isopropyl alcohol
Dry Ice/ CO2 / Carbon Dioxide extraction
Dry ice, sometimes referred to as “Cardice” or as “card ice” (chiefly British English), is the solid form of carbon dioxide. It is used primarily as a cooling agent. Its advantages include lower temperature than that of water ice and not leaving any residue (other than incidental frost from moisture in the atmosphere). It is useful for preserving frozen foods, ice cream, etc., where mechanical cooling is unavailable. You may read the Wikipedia article about the propertied of Dry ice by clicking this sentence.
I must admit, I have never used CO2.to extract, however, I have had the pleasure of smoking hashes that have been extracted with this method. Unlike butane or Naphtha products, I do not have any adverse effects from concentrates extracted with this method. The CO2 extraction method for cannabis cure oil relies on freezing the medication crystals so they “break away” from the remaining plant material. As I said, I have not extracted with CO2 personally, so I can offer no more tutorial on carbon dioxide extraction method than this small blurb.
What Solvents NOT TO USE
Butane
Butane is something I know a lot of folks love. But there are just too many folks like me too sensitive to petrol ppms left in the end product. I have tried plenty of well made bho, shatter, earwax or whatever you want to call butane extractions. They will get ya good and stoned, but I find an increase in symptoms above symptom levels before smoking (joint pain especially and muscle tension) when it begins to wear off.
I (and many others) cannot tolerate butane extracted hash. It makes my body ache every time I smoke it. For some people, butane may be an option, but I will follow my common sense and you follow yours…. I personally experience side effects from any concentrate that has been extracted with a petroleum based solvent.

Inhalation of the gas can lead to drowsiness, narcosis, cardiac arrhythmia, frostbite, and death from asphyxiation, acute toxicity, and ventricular fibrillation. Butane inhalation is the most common single cause of solvent-related death. Thus, butane needs to be handled with care.”

Naphtha
Naphtha is not good for you!
I do not believe that Naphtha should be used to create this medication for ANYONE. I have received a great deal of hate for taking this position, however this substance is dangerous on MANY levels and I cannot in good conscience stop educating people on it’s dangers when others are actively encouraging its use. Many people have subtle or undiagnosed multiple chemical sensitivities. There are many reasons Naphtha is not a healthy solvent. Please also be sure to read the commentary on both versions of this video. I kindly call it a debate, but anyone who reads it will see that I have taken a great deal of heat for educating people to the dangers of using the petrochemical naphtha to create cannabis oil.

What kind of cannabis
do I use?
Some of you out there are so new to cannabis that knowing what kind of cannabis to get is a difficult proposition. For others, this is basic information that I am reviewing for you.
Some of the most commonly recommended strains by the Rick Simpson Camp of oil creation are white widow and white rhino. Both of these strains are good Indica strains but there are many, many other Indica strains. Indica plants have fat leaves and generally are more earthy in their flavor and smell.
You need a strain high in both THC and CBD. I am of the opinion that all of the compounds of the plant work in concert together to heal cancer. Some people will argue with me that chlorophyll is not necessary, but truly that is a small matter.
Indica strains tend to be sleepier and are better in my opinion for nighttime, however for me, Indica plants are also more effective for deep pain.
Indica medical marijuana strains are short, bushy plants with wide leaves. Indica plants typically grow faster and have a higher yield than the sativa variety. Medicine produced from cannabis indica plants have higher CBD and lower THCcounts therefore a pure indica strain will produce a heavier, sleepy type of high. The flowering stage lasts between 6 to 8 weeks.Plant Origins: Afghanistan, Morocco, and Tibet.
Sativa strains are more for daytime. The feeling is more social, more antidepressant, creative, more energetic, and clearer headed. Sativas are also good as a “ distraction” from the pain, they will help you get interested in whatever it is you are doing to help you not notice how much pain you are in.
The sativa strain of marijuana is the complete opposite of the indica strain. Sativa medical marijuana pants are tall, thin plants, with narrow leaves, and generally are a lighter shade of green then their counterpart, the Indica strain. Sativa strains take longer to grow, mature, and require more light. Medicine produced from cannabis sativa plants have lower CBD and higher THC counts which produces a more clear headed, energetic type of high. The flowering stage lasts between 10 to 16 weeks. Plant Origins: Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and Southeast Asia.

I recommend a Cannabis Indica strain or a cannabis Indica dominant hybrid strain for the curing of cancer. If you are treating another disease, you may want to try different strains of cannabis that are more suited for your condition For example, someone wanting to treat their Post Traumatic Stress Disorder might choose to make their Cannabis Cure Oil from a strain known to be a good treatment for P.T.S.D anxiety symptoms such as Northern Lights. An epileptic or seizure patient may want to make their oil out of strains known to reduce seizure activity such as White Widow, White Rhino, or Life Saver. A chronic fatigue patient may want a sativa based oil for the energetic properties of some of those strains. Likewise, a patient with depression may wish to choose an uplifting euphoric sativa strain to use as an antidepressant. Cannabis Indica strains tend to be high in both Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD)

There is nothing wrong with using a mixture of bud and close trim to make phoenix tears oil. I have even known people who used street grade weed (commonly referred to as shwag) to make the oil and saw results. Too often shwag is grown by non-organic methods and harvested before the nutrients have been flushed out of the plant properly. Sometimes, the plant is even harvested before she is completely ripe. That being said, you cannot argue with the results of people who used shwag because that was all they had access to and were able to cure their cancer with it. Because of all these concerns, I recommend everyone grow their own bud, or buy the raw materials from a trusted grower.

1 lb of bud generally yields 2 ounces of oil
1.2-1.5 pounds of cannabis trim yields about 2 ounces of oil depending on the crystal content of the raw materials.
a bag made of t-shirt material (a pillow case made of this fabric works well)
If you buy a set of jersey fabric sheets that comes in a bag, the bag it comes in and the pillow cases are perfect to put raw material in for soaking. if you don’t want to buy a sheet set or pillowcases, sewing up a new (or old) CLEAN t-shirt into a bag will serve just as well.”

What YOU DO
Step 1 Grind it:
Cut or grind your cannabis into small, loose pieces. This increases the surface area for the solvent and maximizes the amount of medication extracted. This step is particularly important if your raw materials have been compressed in any way.
Step 2 Freeze it:
Place your raw materials in a bag made from t-shirt (jersey) material. Freeze your raw materials for a minimum of 2 hours. Also freeze the alcohol solvent (no it will not become solid and if there is any water in your alcohol, it will freeze to the sides of your container)
Step 3 SOAK IT:
Put your bag of frozen raw materials into a container to soak. cover with the alcohol you have selected and allow to soak with a lid on it for 2-24 hours. Many different oil makers use different soak times. Some measure their soak time in minutes, some in hours, others in days or weeks. My teacher and I have played with many soak times and have settled upon the 2-24 hour range as ideal for our patients.
Step 4 Filter it:
Remove the raw material bag being sure you squeeze as much of the alcohol out as possible. Place the bag in a stainless steel colander or strainer and allow the alcohol to drain from the bag thoroughly. Set up a funnel on top of another container and place a cone shaped coffee filter inside the funnel. Carefully pour the alcohol through the filter and funnel. This removes some of the plant cellulose so that you get a better consistency (less hard) oil in the end process.
Step 5 Cook it:
Open a window or otherwise ensure proper
ventilation for the duration of this step!
You may need a fan in the window to help ventilate the alcohol fumes.
If you need to ensure others do not smell your cook,
Please do so using your own common sense!
Please be careful about any flames in the cooking
room, or near the window outside of your cook.
Put your filtered alcohol into the device you intend to cook with (still, rice cooker or coffee pot) and turn on the device. Pay close attention to the cook. check it frequently and stir it often with a wooden apparatus you don’t mind being stained for life.
As the oil becomes thicker, you will need to stir it about every 10 minutes.
You may find some hard material as you stir. this will want to stick together. allow it to do so and press this harder material against the side of the container. this material contains residual plant cellulose and is of slightly lower medication value. It is suitable to be put into capsules and swallowed, or made into suppositories for anal or vaginal use.
While there is still enough alcohol left in the mixture for you to pour it, transfer the oil into a small glass dish placed on a desktop coffee or tea warmer.
Continue stirring every ten minutes and pay attention to the bubbles that rise up through the oil. At first, the bubbles with be large, then they will become smaller and smaller as the oil becomes thicker.
YOU KNOW THE OIL IS COMPLETE WHEN NO
MORE BUBBLES show and the oil appears to be a still black mirror
Step 6 Store it:
if you have access to empty oral syringes, then draw up the phoenix tears into syringes
If you do not have access to oral syringes, consider making up pills from empty vegetable capsules
If neither of the above are an option, a wide mouth glass container is suitable
DO NOT STORE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. No need to refrigerate, if you do they may become too thick to work with.
