How to Clean Glass Pipes

HOW TO CLEAN A CANNABIS PIPE WITH HOUSEHOLD MATERIALS

pipe 1

After many uses, our glass pipe will get clogged up with residue and smudge from our homegrown cannabis smoking sessions, making it hard and obnoxious to use. Applying a virtue of patience and use of some standard household materials, we can clean our pipe up, so it seems reliable as brand-new. These techniques and more can also be practiced to cleanse our holy pipe.

Using Rubbing Alcohol

Rubbing alcohol, particularly Isopropyl are easy to obtain. It can be bought through a local drug store or supermarket. Also, Alcohol is antiseptic and disinfectant meaning it has the ability to eliminate germs and bacteria hiding in out pipe.

  • Discarding residues from the pipe.

Take the pipe upside down and lightly tap to extract any residual particles. Then use a cotton swab, or similarly, thin object to eliminate any large residues, easily removed parts of resin you can reach— using a pipe cleaner can do the job easily.

Do not risk cracking the pipe to reach hard spots, as we only need to discard anything big and easy to reach off instantly. This will accommodate the alcohol cleansed the rest of the pipe quicker.

  • Fill a plastic resealable pouch with the alcohol.

Try and obtain 90% isopropyl, as it will wash the pipe quicker than the more watered-down 70% solution. Put the pipe inside the bag, making sure it is completely immersed in the solution.

Alcohol breaks down gum and resin, delivering it more manageable to expel and wiping off smudges over time.

  • Shake the pipe in the bag.

Make sure to run the salt inside the pipe. If possible, displace the salt in the pipe and then use our fingers to seal off the holes of the pipe. We can then rock up the salt inside the container, getting cleared of as much residue as possible. Shake the bag for a couple of minutes or until the pipe is visibly cleaned.

  • Soak the pipe for a couple of hours

Add a spray of the new alcohol and let the pipe rest for a while, sunk in the fluid, for several hours before jarring it up again. If we are using 70% isopropyl alcohol, then some of the salt may have melted, so be certain to add more further if it seems to be juggling some. Soak the pipe overnight and repeat the method in the morning to clean very dirty soiled pipes.

  • Wash out the pipe with hot water

Discharge all the alcohol and salt from the pipe with hot water and flushed off the rest down the toilet bowl, as it can stink or clogged up our kitchen sink and pipes if left undisturbed.

  • Wipeout any residual spots

With a pipe cleaner or cotton swabs, wipe off any small spots, setting the end of the tool in some clean alcohol to get cleared from any resolute stains. To extract any watermarks or non-resin stains, soak the pipe for about half an hour in a mixture of lukewarm water and lemon juice.

Boiling Water and Dishsoap

Using boiling water, a few dish soaps and a pipe cleaner we can wash the resin out of our pipe easily. The boiling water will wash off/loosen up the built-up resin, making it very easy to expel with a pipe cleaner or brush.

  • In a large pan or casserole, pour a room temperature water and place the pipe.
  • Add a bar of small dish soap or a few drops of liquid dishwashing soap.
  • Boil it for about half an hour.
  • Use tongs to wobble the pipe around in the boiling water to loosen the smudge or resins.
  • Empty water leaving the pipe in the pan and let it cool.
  • Once cool enough to touch, use a common pipe cleaner to remove build-up.
  • Use a decent cleaning brush if necessary or cotton buds with rubbing alcohol.
  • Dry up.

pipe2

Using other household materials

  • Using denture cleaning tablets

Put the pipe in the bottom of a glass bowl or container and fill it up with ample amount of warm water to cover the top. Add 2-3 denture tablets in the container and let it rest and soak for half an hour. The fizzing will shed off a lot of residual materials. this technique is meant to remove smudges and residue.

  • Other alternative household cleaning solutions include:
    • Salt and vinegar
    • Baking soda and vinegar
    • Sand and water
    • Hydrogen Peroxide

Last words

Clean the pipe regularly. A swift rinse and soak in some isopropyl alcohol, practiced once a week, takes only a couple of minutes. But it will keep us from having to resort to extensive cleanings or overnight soakings and keep the pipe shiny and sparkling. Some blemishes will not come out if they soak into the glass, but this only appears if we neglect to cleanse the pipe for several months or years in a row. Take the time immediately to clean it off and our job will be much easier in the future.

A Note from Breezy:

If you use the alcohol method to clean your pipes, you can process the alcohol to make what I call “Poor Man’s Phoenix Tears” to reclaim the resin for topical use (its not suitable for ingestion. See the post “A few words on the properties of Isopropyl Alcohol” for my reasons”) Remember a frequently cleaned pipe is a happy, healthy pipe.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA: MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE

MEDICAL MARIJUANA: MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE

BY: Natalie Gray

Medical marijuana or MMJ has been used for decades now to help people afflicted with serious medical conditions that include, but are not limited to glaucoma, cancer, epilepsy, AIDS, and MS (Multiple Sclerosis). As one of the most effective agents that help people cope with chronic pain, medical marijuana offers patients relief from extreme discomfort by alleviating their symptoms.

Understanding the Science Behind Medical Marijuana

Understanding the science behind the effectiveness of marijuana is important in order to dispel these myths and make a well-informed choice about what it truly offers. When administered under the supervision of a qualified and competent doctor or medical practitioner, medical marijuana reduces the pain and nausea that various health problems cause. Scores of people believe that medical marijuana is extremely addictive, and it increases the dependency on the drug.

Research indicates that there is no evidence to support this belief because to start with, medical cannabis does not even have any chemicals that may trigger addiction in people who use it as a part of their treatment process. Then there are other misconceptions that MMJ may also lead to the use of hard drugs such as cocaine and like the former, this is also just a misconception. While medical marijuana can be smoked like a regular banana kush, this is not the only way that it can be used.

There are mainly two types of cannabinoid receptors; CB1 and CB2 that trigger a cascade of biological events within them. While the former type is mainly found in the nerve cells of the brain and is responsible for the mind altering effects of cannabis, the latter is found all over the body and it could be the prime suspect that triggers the biological effects of these cannabinoids on the other parts of the body apart from the brain. So, designing suitable drugs based on the active ingredients that are found in hash oil may be important for the treatment of cancer.

Medical Marijuana As Alternative Medicine

Right from prescription drugs and pills that contain synthetic forms of medical marijuana to other alternate treatment methods, cannabinoids such as THC can be delivered to the body without smoking MMJ. The marijuna seeds, flowers and leaves can be soaked in a mixture of alcohol to extract the cannabinoids in marijuana. This infusion can either be added to drinks and food or absorbed through skin patches and in this form; it takes MMJ as little as a half hour to produce the desired effect. The active components can also be transferred into cooking oil and butter by simmering the plant in them for several hours. This is usually used to bake cookies and brownies or make other types of food that a patient might find appetizing.

Thought there are tests that show that Medical cannabis can cause short term memory loss in some patients who are undergoing treatment, the truth is that the effect is only temporary. Medical marijuana neither reduces their intelligence nor does it affect their long-term memory. Though medical cannabis is an all-natural substance that is obtained from plants, the misconceptions about it are quite controversial and baseless.

Medical Marijuana Works at A Fundamental Level

It is amazing that smoking cannabis works so much better than many pharmaceuticals, which are always absorbed through the proper medium. By setting a plant on fire, inhaling the resulting smoke, and blowing it out, much more relief can be found than ingesting a pharmaceutical substance that decades of research was put into.

The fact that smoking cannabis works better than pharmaceuticals is a testament to its place as humanity’s greatest medicine, but what really matters are the effects people have been having with extract medicine. There is an entire movement working to spread the truth that extracts are capable of curing/eliminating or completely controlling serious diseases like cancer, heart disease, arthritis, Crohn’s, chronic pain, IBS, hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, mental disorders, and more.

Cannabis works against so many conditions because it functions at a fundamental level, restoring balance to all body systems. Since all disease is an imbalance of some kind, cannabis is the best herb for restoring balance.

Bottom Line

Cannabis is one of the most medicinal plants in the world, and when prepared into extracts, its true power is released. The main problem with the medicinal cannabis movement at this point in time is its focus on smoking marijuana, or even vaporizing it. The bottom line is that’s not the right way to use cannabis as a medicine, as effective as even that can be., and its effects greatly exceed what smoked marijuana could ever achieve. Medicine is not intended to be absorbed in a low concentration through the lungs, it is supposed to go through the digestive system in a highly concentrated form.

The Cannabis Love Story: How Genevieve Created A Family – Mike’s Medicines

When I first encountered Anne Mari, Genevieve’s mom, it was by mere chance. In preparation of a long trip to see Compassion patients using cannabis oil the following morning, a cell notification grabbed my attention. Both phones normally have sound turned off -directing a Compassion Alliance providing and re-gifting CBD/Cannabis Oil means both of those phones are continually busy, to this day I still don’t know why I had sound on that night. I peered at the message: “I’m desperately in need of help for my 13-year-old daughter. A friend gave me some CBD and I don’t know how to use it. She has severe Autism and seizes most of the day. Now she can’t go to school anymore without UCLA clearance.” How could I not respond, after all I saw it come through. Little did we know Genbug was about to create the family she always wanted. Our fate was ahead of us as our lives were about to beautifully unite.

Make your own massage oil (Cannabis optional)

The purpose of this blogpost is to help you make your own massage oil. These recipes can be made with or without your carrier oil being infused with cannabis oil. If you wish to infuse your carrier oil, please watch the following video.

https://youtu.be/cWeVcPtAwxY

Or visit:

https://kiefair.com/2018/01/26/waste-not-want-not-phoenix-tears-feco-tutorial-january-2018/

If you’d like to learn to infuse your carrier oils for massage oil, watch this video. Remember you can always warm your plant oil and add Phoenix tears to it for an added kick!

You can adjust the recipes based on your needs. Essential oils are powerful plant agents and need to be treated with respect. ALWAYS DILUTE THESE RECIPES INTO A CARRIER OIL.

Essential oils are expensive. I spent about $400 to make these blends. If you can’t afford that, I suggest you pick one of the massage oils that you think would benefit you most and try that one out to get an idea of if this treatment is right for you or not. These recipes scale both up and down easily. A part can be as little as a drop or as much as you like. I used 10ml or 0.33 fl oz as a part for these recipes. While expensive, once mixed at these volumes you can refill your massage oil containers for as long as 2 YEARS!

You must dilute each base below into a carrier oil such as olive oil, hempseed oil, or coconut oil. Start slow as you mix the essential oil blend with your carrier oil. A beginner ratio could be as low as 1 part essential oils to 9 parts carrier oil. You can add more essential oil if you think it’s not strong enough for you, not to exceed a half and half ratio of carrier oil to essential oil.
Essential oils are powerful plant compounds and should be treated with respect. If you have sensitive skin, wear gloves while mixing essential oils until you get them into the carrier oil.

DMSO

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is an organosulfur compound with the formula (CH3)2SO. This colorless liquid is an important polar aprotic solvent that dissolves both polar and nonpolar compounds and is miscible in a wide range of organic solvents as well as water. It has a relatively high melting point. DMSO has the unusual property that many individuals perceive a garlic-like taste in the mouth after contact with the skin.[2]

Use of DMSO in medicine dates from around 1963, when an Oregon Health & Science University Medical School team, headed by Stanley Jacob, discovered it could penetrate the skin and other membranes without damaging them and could carry other compounds into a biological system. In medicine, DMSO is predominantly used as a topical analgesic, a vehicle for topical application of pharmaceuticals, as an anti-inflammatory, and an antioxidant.[19] Because DMSO increases the rate of absorption of some compounds through organic tissues, including skin, it is used in some transdermaldrug delivery systems. Its effect may be enhanced with the addition of EDTA. It is frequently compounded with antifungal medications, enabling them to penetrate not just skin but also toenails and fingernails.

DMSO has been examined for the treatment of numerous conditions and ailments, but the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved its use only for the symptomatic relief of patients with interstitial cystitis.[20] A 1978 study concluded that DMSO brought significant relief to the majority of the 213 patients with inflammatory genitourinary disorders that were studied.[21] The authors recommended DMSO for genitourinary inflammatory conditions not caused by infection or tumor in which symptoms were severe or patients failed to respond to conventional therapy.

To Whom It May Concern

I was run over by the truth one day.

Ever since the diagnosis I have been this way

So burn my body with radiation

Tell me lies about cancer.

Heard the alarm clock screaming with pain,

Couldn’t find myself so I went back to sleep again

So fill my veins with Chemo

burn my body with radiation

Tell me lies about cancer.

Every time I shut my eyes all I see is pain.

Made a little ribbon to remember all the names

So empty out my bank account

fill my veins with chemo

burn my body with radiation

Tell me lies about cancer.

I hear they are thinking surgery, hope it’s not my brains.

They’re only gutting fishes for their own personal gain

So numb my brain with Morphine

empty out my bank account

fill my veins with chemo

burn my body with radiation

Tell me lies about cancer.

Where were you at the time of the crime?

Ripping up the hippocratic oath, just to make a dime?

So chain my Life with hopelessness

numb my brain with Morphine

empty out my bank account

fill my veins with chemo

burn my body with radiation

Tell me lies about cancer

You put your doctors in, they take their conscience out,

They take the human being and they twist it all about

So take my world away

chain my Life with hopelessness

numb my brain with Morphine

empty out my bank account

fill my veins with chemo

burn my body with radiation

Tell me lies about cancer

I am so honored that The oil making method I perpetuate (taught by Ronnie Lee Smith {RIP 2014} was awarded athishigh honor by having these links to the method added here as an outreach education for anyone with the will to learn to make the oil.
The #1 topic I get personal messages and calls about? My oil making methods and questions related to the treatment.
I have been with Greenfaith for many years, sometimes a quiet supporter, sometimes I donate, but in the beginning I was among the needy being helped by the good folks at Greenfaith. These links will lead you to my website and much more information. tons of links within links to read. The information is free to anyone willing to read it. Get some raw materials, and make a batch. You might just save the life of a loved one, give them more time than the doctor thinks, or at very least increase the quality of life as its quantity dwindles. I am honored by the words on this page that speak about me of course, but what really matters is passing on the method. Anecdotal evidence is so important in a climate where little real research is being done. This group of whole plant compounds is a healer of many ills. Learn to make it, feed your soul, then feed the oil to a sick loved one and watch them come back a ways from the precipice of death we all must fall from one day.

Pebbles, thank you for your kind words. It’s been a long hard road for me personally, but if the fruit of that road is giving the method I learned to empower the sick, then every step was worth it.
Thanks to Bill Bartlett and Rev Baker for honoring my oil making master, his method and my changes to it to customize it for smaller batches.

I had an opportunity to spend some time with Rev Brandon Baker And several members of the Greenfaith Ministry; it was a true honor to meet people that are so dedicated to helping the sick that they put their personal freedoms on the line to do so.
The good people at Greenfaith Ministry make Holy Healing Oil derived from the Holy Cannabis Plant. And give it to the people who need it. The good people at Greenfaith Ministry have an impressive list of healing ranging from simple scratches to cancer.
How can this be anything less then Gods work?
I urge you to check out the Greenfaith Ministry and all the good they are doing.

I want to specially thank Rick Simpson for saving my wife’s life with his healing oil. some years back my wife Rose was diagnosed with a deadly disease cancer of the lungs, we try all medication all to no avail, we also try to do the oil our selves but we were doing more harm than worse. until I saw a post on face book on how the cannabis oil had cured a cancer patient, I quickly emailed the mail: rev.420@greenfaithministry.com from that very moment we just have to give it a trier, instantly we got a reply from him asking us what the exact cancer problem that my wife Rose has….. He calculated the dosage for us, i think the dosage he calculated was 60 grams of the oil which we ordered plus 30 grams maintenance and also have body lotion and soap. He told us that if we need the donation we must meet the church elder(s)/leader(s) in person then pick it up or have it delivered, my wife Rose started the medication immediately just after a month of using Rick Simpson cannabis oil (FECO, RSO, HOLY HEALING OIL, etc), Rose is now free from cancer problem, she is living a healthy life my utmost priority of sharing this short testimony is for those that are suffering from my kind of cancer diseases or if your friend or family members are suffering from this deadly disease, please don’t die in silence there is a cure for your cancer today don’t waste anytime further you have to email some one for Rick Simpson Oil directly and save your live and the lives of others
